SNVRKOLEPSY
SNVRKOLEPSY is the debut studio album by the American experimental artist SNVRK, released independently through SNVRKOTICS on June 5, 2026. Its eleven tracks run about 27 minutes, were produced by Godzay with SNVRK, and include collaborations credited to Funk Flex and SNEAKO. The album was promoted with the Ticketstorm, a citywide stunt of mock parking tickets in New York.
Background
SNVRK announced the album on January 8, 2026, describing it as a "systemic reset" of how music is rolled out and as built on what he called "offline-to-online" mechanics.[1] He has said the record grew out of a withdrawn offer from Opium in March 2024, and conceived it as a concept album about betrayal, awakening and cultural disruption; see SNVRK.
Production
The album was recorded in 2025 at Pirate Studios in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and produced by Godzay with SNVRK. According to SNVRK, it was made and mastered entirely in Logic Pro 11 — "I always mix into my plugins" — with the Slate Digital FG-X2 processor giving the record its loud, dense finish.[1]
Its hi-vis orange and gray visual identity is drawn from industrial safety equipment. SNVRK has said the idea for the album's physical promotion came from the dial cards he handled as a meter reader for Con Edison.[1]
Release and promotion
SNVRKOLEPSY was released on June 5, 2026 through SNVRKOTICS on streaming services and as a download.[2] Its lead single, "33 HRS", had been released on March 20.
Early on June 6, the NYC Ticketstorm put mock parking-ticket envelopes — the artwork later titled The Treachery of Tickets — on parked cars in Brooklyn, each pointing to the album. A press conference on the steps of New York City Hall was announced for July 19, 2026 and later cancelled; SNVRK cited the lawsuit then under way.[1]
An expanded "original vision" edition, 33°, has been announced. No release of it could be confirmed at the time of writing.
