## Execution

Between 1:00 and 5:00 a.m. on June 6, 2026, SNVRK placed orange envelopes on the windshields of parked cars, so that residents would find them at the same time on waking.[1] Accounts on the SNVRK Wiki center the route on Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO and name other neighborhoods in passing, including Boerum Hill and Lower Manhattan. The stunt was dedicated to #America250 and to independent artists.[1]

## Design

The envelopes were made to pass for New York City Department of Finance citations at a glance: the same hi-vis orange, the same proportions, and a QR code where a reader would look for payment instructions, which led to the *[SNVRKOLEPSY](https://wiki.snvrkotics.com/snvrkolepsy)* site. SNVRK has said the distribution method came from the dial cards he used as a meter reader for Con Edison. The design is catalogued as an artwork, [The Treachery of Tickets](https://wiki.snvrkotics.com/the-treachery-of-tickets).[1]

## Objectives

SNVRK has described the stunt as an "offline-to-online" campaign meant to break with digital-only album rollouts, and framed the music as a "reward" for the scare of finding a ticket.[1]

## Aftermath

SNVRK announced a press conference on the steps of New York City Hall for July 19, 2026, to address the stunt and the album. It was later cancelled; SNVRK cited the [lawsuit](https://wiki.snvrkotics.com/gottfried-v-night-media) he had filed in June.[1]
